DESCRIPTION

PT51 Pressure transmitter equipped with a "flush diaphragm" is designed for specific applications where there is a need to measure pressure in processes that involve viscous, sticky, or potentially clogging media. the flush diaphragm plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate pressure measurements in such challenging conditions. 

• Media compatibility : In certain industrial processes, the media being measured can be highly viscous, contain solids, or be prone to crystallization or solidification. A regular diaphragm in a pressure transmitter could become clogged or obstructed by such substances, compromising measurement accuracy. A flush diaphragm, on the other hand, is designed to prevent these obstructions.

• Prevents buildup : The flush diaphragm is typically constructed in a way that eliminates any dead spaces or cavities where the process media can accumulate. this prevents the buildup of material and ensures that the diaphragm remains clean and free from blockages.

• Minimizes contamination : Flush diaphragms are resistant to contamination, making them suitable for use in industries like food processing, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals, where maintaining product purity and avoiding cross-contamination are critical.

• Easy to clean : PT51 is designed to be easily cleaned or sterilized in place. this is particularly important in industries where strict hygiene standards must be met, such as the food and pharmaceutical sectors. CIP (clean-in-place) and SIP (sterilize-in-place) processes can be used without the risk of diaphragm damage.

• Accuracy : By preventing obstructions and contamination, a flush diaphragm ensures that the pressure transmitter continues to provide accurate and reliable pressure measurements over time.

• Durability : Flush diaphragms are built to withstand the demanding conditions in which they are used. they are often made from materials that are resistant to corrosion and abrasion.
